I received a mail from Ed this morning. He wrote:
“I am a wind, You are a cloud. Then, I transformed to a person”.
LOL.
so cute… so poetic. Don’t know where he learnt it from.
Oh ya, btw, I created Ern and Ed an email id of their own…..
It was when Ern came back from school saying that teacher teach them how to send email but to fake IDs. So, I created a genuine one for them. ;-D

Ever since his poor “Penulisan” result in last Aug’s exams, I made him read and memorizes his school’s Bahasa book. I ensure that he reads all the new words one by one, understand the meaning and know how to make sentence out of it.
After 2 months, this final exam, he got above 80% from merely a passed!
I am such a happy mom.
It pays all my effort and it proves to him that unless he reads it and understands them, he can do it. Eversince Jan, he never got a good grade for this paper. Now, I am really happy. Not to overjoy and stop here, I will continue guiding him.
The next one to concentrate on, will be his Chinese Essay. You know what, he failed !! OMG ! Std 1 failed in exam ??? I actually left this job to hubby cas I do not read chinese !! Ern’s chinese literacy is better than mine actually! Sigh…. let’s see what I can do since hubby is so busy with his work. Except these 2 papers, he did well in all other papers. So, I really hope that he could pick up fast.

In 2007 Sept 10, my 2nd uncle left us to a greenery pasteur. It was right on the day of my cousin’s birthday. This uncle of mine is very close to us. Ever since this day, my cousin could not have a happier birthday. She said that she just couldn’t celebrate. So sad to hear that….
It reminds me of my grandma’s incident. She passed away on the day of my dad’s BD. How sad it is, isn’t it? Celebrating one side, sorrow the other. We were very close with our grandma. Although grandma had left us 24 years ago, we still deeply miss her.
Last Fri marks the memorial of hubby’s grandma, MIL’s mom. I consider our relation as close relationship. Tomorrow will be her funeral and it is so happened to be my BD.
I am not from a big family but why so many coincidences in my life ???
Well, to see it more optimistic, lesser dates for me to remember.
But I rather have more dates to remember than this coindence…
Do you have such coincidences ? Whenever you want to celebrate, it reminds you the demise of another one close to you. I wonder how long will this sad feeling lasts…

I got an early BD present from Mrs. Rain. When Ed saw me taking a plastic bag, immediately he asked if it is a present, and made a guessed from whom I got it. He was so happy as if the present was for him.
Instead of me opening my present, he is the one so eager and couldn’t tolerate. Taking it away from my hand. He started opening it and said ” Mom, this time I will give you the present. I will not take it because we always take your present. This time, we give it to u”.
So cute.
My present: A very nice black baby T with metalic stud acoustic guitar printed on.
What did Ed said when he saw my present ?
Ed : Wah !… what a nice present, mom. You have new shirt, mom. I hope you like it.
Me : Yes, I like it. Thank you.
hahaha Talk like an adult. As if the present was from him ! Beh Tong.
That’s not all. He took the wrapping paper, gold Doraemon and started cutting out the pic and colored them. He then made a small pocket and put them in and present it to me. So cute.

Every year on this very day, MIL will surprise me with 2 red eggs and Hock Chiew’s signature dish : Ang Chiew Mee Sua (Hong Cau Min Sin) with a big drumstick after I get back from work. Why I say surprise me? It’s because I never follow chinese calender, like most of the younger generation do now. We know when is our chinese calender birthday but we just don’t know when that day comes.
Early morning, MIL called to wish me “Happy Birthday” and asked if I want the usual red eggs and Ang Chiew Mee Sua. I was really surprised as I did not expect her to know / remember that Today is Sept 15th of chinese calender…. because MIL’s mom is in critical condition. MIL had been for months taking care of her and she’s too tired herself. Yet, she still remembers this Big Day of mine.
So sweet… A different surprise this year.
Of course, I didn’t make her to cook for me. I should have cook myself 2 red eggs… but as usual, I am lazy to do anything for myself.
Anyway, this is my first time celebrating Chinese calender birthday with my colleagues.
So fun… It’s so happened that they want to have vege on every 1st and 15th of chinese calender month. Then only it reminds me of my BD. Other than the vege lunch, I was treated with my favorite “Tong Sui” at “Red chopstick” at I-avenue. It was another surprise.. and so…. I did not bring my camera along. (What a waste !) I’ll definately return to this shop again as Mrs. Rain yet try at this restaurant.
Coincidently at 3pm today, my malay colleagues threw a “Open House” party in the office. I gotta eat again.
…. Last but not least, today is Japan Public Holiday ! Wah..! Holiday for me ! hahahahahah

Ed has another instructor, whom, although not so committed but can still see his shadow sometimes.
Not totally MIA.
Partly because of that, partly because Ed is not as brave as Ern, Ed can’t swim as well as Ern. His stroke and kicking still needed to be corrected. We’re waiting for the day to come. Not sure when his instructor gonna do that. Hopefully not too long
as the entrance fee had been raised from RM0.50 to RM 1.50 for kids and adults compulsary RM 1.50 per entry.
Having said about his strokes are wrong, yet, yesterday, he completed 50m without any stopping ! I asked him if it was what his instructor asked him to do and he said Nope. His instructor only asked for 25m. He did it All because of his bro could do it. He said : “I just kept telling myself that I can, I can, I can and I did it”. Brava
He swam 3 times of the 50m and as parents always worrys, hubby tailed him all the way. No wonder he was so tired out.
